Winter Wonderland

The earth is shrouded in white
Or decked up like a bride?
Is that a deathly pallor?
Or the sparkle of light and colour?

Well beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
And mine is attuned to find beauty and wonder
For I see the glory of the decked up trees
The sparkle of diamonds in ice and freeze

Christmas aint pretty if it isn’t white
Neither is the fun of a snow fight
The joy of a blanket and cup of tea
Companions, warmth and glee

Snowflakes in every shape and size
Melting upon my closed eyes
Makes me wanna roll and play
In the snow  and ride a sleigh

Come join me my friend today
Hold my hand and clear your day
Cos its time to have an epic blast
In the snow with joy unsurpassed.
